I haven’t found any other iOS app that offers GoodReader’s level of functionality and flexibility for working with PDF’s. When reading a PDF on the GoodReader app you have great content revision tools to work with including striking, adding text, adding “sticky note” comment bubbles and setting page bookmarks. The GoodReader interface is fluid and the controls are hidden until you need them giving you access to the entire screen when reading. There are a lot of PDF readers on the market, including the new Acrobat for iPad from Adobe but even this does not compare with the functionality of GoodReader. PDF Readerįirst and foremost I purchased GoodReader as a PDF reader because it allows you to markup PDF files on your iPad and save the annoted file. This is a more expensive app at $4.99 but well worth the money since it works on both your iPhone and iPad for the same price and it’s just one of those apps that makes your device better. Any business person that wants to be truly mobile should have this app on their phone to make sure they are ready for any curve balls thrown their way. GoodReader enables users to access their data on local servers, cloud servers, FTP’s and other systems giving your real mobile access to your information. GoodReader is an all-in-one solution for viewing, reading and marking all types of files. Some apps are cool and others are essential, GoodReader falls into the ESSENTIAL category.
